Lada’at – Choose Well is the leading organization in Jerusalem promoting healthy sexuality and sexual health, working to ensure that all individuals have full access to information and are supported in making the right choices for themselves regarding their sexual and reproductive health. Through educational programming, counseling, support during times of crisis, advocacy and accessible information, Lada’at is able to provide essential knowledge and facilitate positive discourse on healthy sexual behavior and sexual health in Israel, with a particular focus on Jerusalem and its environs. Each year we help hundreds of thousands of teens and adults protect their sexual health, make informed decisions, and learn the essentials of healthy sexuality, such as freedom of choice and expression with regard to relationships and sexuality without fear of societal-cultural pressure and violation of personal safety. Additionally, Lada’at is active in advocacy for policy change, contributing our knowledge from the field in Knesset committees and work with decision makers with the purpose of safeguarding human rights in the area of sexual health and endorsing laws to remove legal obstructions that prevent full, optimal access to sexual health services for women from all sectors.
